Patina Patina PatinaMiller played the leading role in the Stephen Schwartz's 1972 Broadway musical "Pippin". "Pippin" was created by Tony Award winning director Diane Paulus directed "Pippin" in addition to included Matthew James Thomas and Andrea Martin. Terrence Mann and Matthew James Thomas were the others in the cast. Patina has put her own contemporary take on the award-winning Benjamin Vereen's part and did a great job at mastering the Fosse moves that are so important to the show. Patina has been nominated for an Tony Award, an Outer Critics Circle Award and a Broadway.com Audience Choice Award. Additionally, she won an award for a Drama League Award as Best Actress for an Leading Role and also an Outer Critics Circle Award as Outstanding Actress for a musical. From December 2012 until the beginning of January 2013 she performed as the Leading Player of the American Repertory Theater's production of Pippin. Miller made her Broadway debut in the 2011 Broadway season as the gutsy nightclub-singer-turned-nun "Deloris Van Cartier" in the stage adaptation of "Sister Act", which earned her first Tony nomination, as well as Drama Desk, Drama League, and Outer Critics Circle Award nominations for her performance.
